New York High School Softball - South Jefferson bounces General Brown

The South Jefferson Spartans routed the visiting General Brown Lions softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Spartans (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lowville (Lowville, NY). The Red Raiders go into the Section 3 Frontier B battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Lowville topped Carthage (Carthage, NY), 17-0, in a non-league battle.
The Lions now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they host South Lewis for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 2. General Brown will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 13-12 league win over Beaver River (Beaver Falls, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 7-1.
