Gibsonburg Golden Bears (Gibsonburg, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Golden Bears now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host St. Joseph Central Catholic for a Sandusky Bay - River challenge on Monday, May 6.

With the loss, New Riegel falls to 18-2 on the campaign. The Blue jackets host Woodmore (Elmore, OH) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-8.
