New York High School Softball - Griffith Institute topped by Iroquois

In Wednesday's league contest, the Iroquois Redhawks (Elma, NY) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY), by a margin of 12-0.
With the triumph, Iroquois moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Redhawks travel to Tonawanda (Tonawanda, NY) to play the Timberwolves in a Section 6 Erie County IV contest on Thursday, May 2. The Timberwolves come into the contest with a record of 1-4. Tonawanda lost 13-1 in their recent league contest against Depew (Depew, NY)
In their next game, the Griffins play the Lackawanna Steelers (Lackawanna, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County IV contest, on Friday, May 3. Griffith Institute will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
