Ohio High School Softball - Martins Ferry gets by Indian Creek

The Martins Ferry Purple Riders (Martins Ferry, OH) softball nipped the host Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Purple Riders (15-4) will now prepare for their bout against Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH). The Panthers go into the Ohio Valley Athletic AAA bout with a 6-5 record.

The Redskins now possess a 15-7 record. They play next when they host Carrollton for a non-league bout on Friday, May 3. Indian Creek will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 11-4 league win over Minerva (Minerva, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 6-13.
