The Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers routed the visiting Providence Cristo Rey Wolves softball squad by a count of 22-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Deaf Hoosiers (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Bethesda Christian topped Christel House (Indianapolis, IN), 16-2, in a non-league battle.
The Wolves now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Irvington Preparatory Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, May 3. Providence Cristo Rey will meet a squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to Heritage Christian (Indianapolis, IN). The record now stands at 3-4.
