Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Irvington Blue Knights (Irvington, NJ) and the host Orange Tornadoes (Orange, NJ), witnessed Irvington's softball squad prevail over Orange by a count of 16-8.

The Blue Knights now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to University for a non-league match on Friday, May 3.

With the loss, Orange moves to 1-7 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Dickinson (Jersey City, NJ) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Thursday, May 2.
