The James F. Byrnes Rebels routed the visiting Spartanburg Vikings softball squad by a final score of 16-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Rebels (25-3) will now prepare for their battle against Blythewood (Blythewood, SC). The Bengals go into the non-league battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, Blythewood topped Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC), 9-5, in a non-league battle.
The Vikings now possess a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to Hillcrest for a non-league battle on Friday, May 3. Spartanburg will meet a Rams squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Blythewood (Blythewood, SC). The Rams record now stands at 6-13.
