Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Chaska for a Metro West challenge on Friday, May 3.

With the loss, Waconia falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Chaska (Chaska, MN) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 8-1.
