Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Pinelands Regional Wildcats (Tuckerton, NJ) and the visiting Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), witnessed Pinelands Regional's softball squad prevail over Lacey Township by a count of 11-1.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Toms River East for a non-league match on Friday, May 3. Pinelands Regional will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Toms River South (Toms River, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Lacey Township moves to 2-11 on the season. The Lions travel to Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, May 3. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 4-10. Brick Memorial lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Central Regional (Bayville, NJ)
