The Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME) softball the host Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME), 6-2 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Phoenix (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Madison (Madison, ME). The Bulldogs go into the Class C South bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Madison was routed by Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME), 12-2, in a league bout.
The Greyhounds now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Winthrop for a Class C South bout on Friday, May 3. Lisbon will confront a Ramblers squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Dirigo (Dixfield, ME). The Ramblers record now stands at 1-2.
