Maine High School Softball - Monmouth Academy bounces Madison

The Monmouth Academy Mustangs routed the visiting Madison Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 12-2 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME). The Hawks go into the Class C South battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Sacopee Valley was routed by North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME), 16-1, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Spruce Mountain for a Class C South battle on Friday, May 3. Madison will meet a Phoenix squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME). The Phoenix record now stands at 5-1.
