New York High School Softball - Maria Regina can't hold off Preston

The Preston Panthers softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Maria Regina Tigers to 12 in the Panthers league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Preston moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Monsignor McClancy (Queens, NY) to clash with the Crusaders in a Bronx/Westchester game on Thursday, May 2. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 0-1. Monsignor McClancy lost 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Fontbonne Hall Academy (Brooklyn, NY)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY) in a Bronx/Westchester game, on Friday, May 3. Maria Regina will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
