Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA), 19-0 in a league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 16-0 record. They take the field next when they host Armstrong for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. Neshannock will battle a River Hawks squad coming off a 12-5 non-league win over Indiana (Indiana, PA). The River Hawks record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, New Brighton falls to 0-6 on the campaign.
