Pennsylvania High School Softball - New Castle loses to Western Beaver

The Western Beaver Golden Beavers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host New Castle Hurricanes to 3 in the Golden Beavers league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Western Beaver improves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Golden Beavers travel to Freedom Area (Freedom, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, May 9. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 6-9.
In their next game, the Hurricanes clash with the Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 2. New Castle will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 2-6 record after their 10-0 league loss to Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA).
