The New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) softball the host Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI), 9-7 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Hornets (12-4) will now prepare for their bout against Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI). The Rams go into the Mid-Michigan bout with a 9-7 record. In their last bout, Hill-McCloy held off Hillman (Hillman, MI), 6-3, in a non-league bout.
