In Wednesday's league contest, the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) softball team the visiting Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), by a margin of 6-2.

With the triumph, Verdugo Hills improves its record to 14-7 on the year. The Dons travel to Arleta (Arleta, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a East Valley game on Friday, May 3. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 15-10. Arleta won 10-0 in their recent league game against North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA)

In their next game, the Parrots clash with the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) in a East Valley game, on Friday, May 3. Poly will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 22-4 record after their 30-0 league win over Monroe (North Hills, CA).
