Tri-Village Patriots (New Madison, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Twin Valley South Panthers (West Alexandria, OH), 7-2 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ansonia for a Western Ohio Athletic challenge on Friday, May 3. Tri-Village will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 16-5.

With the loss, Twin Valley South falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bradford (Bradford, OH) to battle the Railroaders in a Western Ohio Athletic challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Railroaders enter the challenge with a record of 6-13. Bradford lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Dixie (New Lebanon, OH)
