In Thursday's league game, the host Abington Galloping Ghosts baseball team scored a nice 19-9 win over the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials.
The Galloping Ghosts (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Cheltenham was overwhelmed by New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA), 13-9, in a league game.
Next, the Colonials play the Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA) in a Suburban One - Liberty game, on Monday, May 5. Plymouth Whitemarsh will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 5-3 record after their 6-5 league win over Quakertown (Quakertown, PA).
