Ambassador Lions (Torrance, CA) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Compton Early College Rising Phoenix (Compton, CA), 12-9 in a league match.

With the triumph, Ambassador advances its record to 5-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Environmental Charter (Lawndale, CA) to battle the White Tigers in a Mulholland match on Monday, May 5. The White Tigers come into the match with a record of 13-7. Environmental Charter lost 22-0 in their recent non-league match against Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA)

The Rising Phoenix now have a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Animo City of Champions for a Mulholland match on Monday, May 5. Compton Early College will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 25-0 league loss to Shalhevet (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-13.
