Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Berwick loses to Pittston

Pittston Patriots (Pittston, PA) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA), 9-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Pittston advances its record to 17-0 on the season. The Patriots host Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA) to battle the Cougars in a Wyoming Valley 1 match on Monday, May 5. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 11-4. Hazleton Area won 10-4 in their recent league match against Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA)

The Bulldogs now have a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyoming Area for a non-league match on Friday, May 2. Berwick will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-6.
