Kansas High School Baseball - Girard defeats Columbus

In Thursday's league game, the visiting Girard Trojans baseball team scored a close 7-2 win over the Columbus Titans.
The Trojans (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Galena (Galena, KS). The Bulldogs go into the Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, Galena was overwhelmed by Frontenac (Frontenac, KS), 5-2, in a league game.
Next, the Titans play the Riverton Rams (Riverton, KS) in a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee game, on Monday, May 5. Columbus will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record.
