The Lake Placid Bombers baseball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Crown Point Panthers to 2 in the Bombers league win on Thursday.
The Bombers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bolton Central for a Section 7 Mountain Valley test on Friday, May 2. Lake Placid will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Chazy (Chazy, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Crown Point drops to 0-4 on the year. The Panthers host Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY) to clash with the Bombers in a Section 7 Mountain Valley test on Friday, May 9. The Bombers go into the test with a record of 4-2.
