Rhode Island High School Baseball - Narragansett loses to East Greenwich

East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI), 5-2 in a league match.

The Avengers (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Crusaders enter the Division 2 battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Prout by Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 12-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Mariners face the Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 3. Narragansett will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 9-3 record after their 8-6 league win over Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI).
