In Thursday's non-league bout, the Elkhart Wildcats (Elkhart, KS) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Satanta Indians (Satanta, KS), by a tally of 16-1.
Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Stanton County Trojans (Johnson, KS) in a Hi-Plains bout, on Monday, May 5. Elkhart will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record.
The Indians (0-12) will now prepare for their bout against Kinsley (Kinsley, KS). The Coyotes enter the non-league bout with a 10-6 record. In their last bout, Kinsley was overwhelmed by Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS), 12-6, in a non-league bout.
