The Manchester Essex Hornets (Manchester, MA) baseball got by the visiting Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals (South Hamilton, MA), 6-5 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Amesbury for a CAL Baker challenge on Saturday, May 3.

With the defeat, Hamilton-Wenham Regional drops to 11-2 on the year. The Generals travel to Georgetown (Georgetown, MA) to clash with the Royals in a CAL Baker challenge on Saturday, May 3. The Royals go into the challenge with a record of 3-6.
