Virginia High School Baseball - Middlesex wallops West Point

The Middlesex Chargers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting West Point Pointers to 1 in the Chargers league win on Thursday.

The Chargers now hold a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rappahannock for a non-league test on Monday, May 5. Middlesex will play a Raiders team coming off a 10-5 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 12-2.

With the defeat, West Point drops to 2-10 on the year. The Pointers host Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA) to play the Drifters in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Drifters go into the test with a record of 6-9. Colonial Beach lost 16-0 in their recent league test against Essex (Tappahannock, VA)
