The Redwood Rangers baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Monache Marauders to 3 in the Rangers league win on Thursday.

The Rangers now hold a 17-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Golden West for a East Yosemite test on Monday, May 5. Redwood will play a Trailblazers team coming off a 10-5 league loss to Porterville (Porterville, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 10-14.

With the defeat, Monache drops to 16-8 on the year. The Marauders host Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA) to play the Pioneers in a East Yosemite test on Monday, May 5. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 6-19. Mt. Whitney won 4-3 in their recent league test against El Diamante (Visalia, CA)
