Massachusetts High School Baseball - Monson edges Palmer

In Thursday's league game, the host Monson Mustangs baseball team scored a close 5-2 win over the Palmer Panthers.

The Mustangs (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Lee (Lee, MA). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Lee by Mount Everett Regional (Sheffield, MA), 10-3, in a league game.

Next, the Panthers play the Pathfinder RVT Pioneers (Palmer, MA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 3. Palmer will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Pioneers go into the game with a 7-1 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Putnam Vo-Tech (Springfield, MA).
