The Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA) baseball got by the visiting Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), 4-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 22-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greater Atlanta Christian for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Savannah Christian will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 23-12.

With the defeat, Mount Vernon drops to 12-14 on the year.
