In Thursday's league game, the visiting Northumberland Indians baseball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Westmoreland Eagles.

The Indians (13-2) will now prepare for their game against Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Drifters go into the Northern Neck game with a 6-9 record. In their last game, Colonial Beach was overwhelmed by Essex (Tappahannock, VA), 16-0, in a league game.

Next, the Eagles play the Chancellor Chargers (Fredericksburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 2. Westmoreland will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 1-11 record after their 13-3 league loss to Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA).
