California High School Baseball - St. Augustine defeats Point Loma

In Thursday's league game, the host St. Augustine Saints baseball team scored a close 7-0 win over the Point Loma Pointers.

The Saints (15-8) will now prepare for their game against Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Dons go into the Western game with a 13-8 record. In their last game, Cathedral Catholic was overwhelmed by Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA), 7-0, in a league game.

Next, the Pointers play the Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA) in a Western game, on Monday, May 5. Point Loma will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 6-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Madison (San Diego, CA).
