St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT), 5-0 in a league match.
With the triumph, St. Johnsbury Academy advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Spaulding (Barre, VT) to battle the Crimson Tide in a Metro match on Saturday, May 3. The Crimson Tide come into the match with a record of 1-0.
The Green Knights now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colchester for a Metro match on Saturday, May 3.
