In Thursday's league game, the host Shawnee Mission South Raiders baseball team scored a nice 13-3 win over the Shawnee Mission North Bison.

The Raiders (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Smithville (Smithville, MO). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 20-4 record. In their last game, Smithville knocked off Grandview (Grandview, MO), 15-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Bison play the Olathe North Eagles (Olathe, KS) in a Sunflower game, on Tuesday, May 6. Shawnee Mission North will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 5-10 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Piper (Kansas City, KS).
