The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Woonsocket Villa Novans (Woonsocket, RI) and the host Tolman Tigers (Pawtucket, RI), saw Woonsocket's baseball team gain a win over Tolman by a tally of 7-0.

The Villa Novans (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hope (Providence, RI). The Blue Wave enter the Division 3 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Hope held off Classical (Providence, RI), 14-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Wheeler Warriors (Providence, RI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 3. Tolman will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 11-1 league loss to Portsmouth Abbey (Portsmouth, RI).
