North Carolina High School Volleyball - Marvin Ridge over Metrolina Christian Academy

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) and the host Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC), observed Marvin Ridge's volleyball team top Metrolina Christian Academy by a tally of 3-0.

The Mavericks (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Ardrey Kell beat Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Warriors meet the Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 5. Metrolina Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 9-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC).
