Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Willow Glen Rams (San Jose, CA), observed Mt. Pleasant's volleyball team hold off Willow Glen by a tally of 3-2.

The Cardinals (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA). The Acorns enter the BVAL - West Valley contest with a 19-6 record. In their last contest, Live Oak got by San Jose (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Rams meet the Gunderson Grizzlies (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - West Valley contest, on Monday, May 5. Willow Glen will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a 9-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Lincoln (San Jose, CA).
