In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Seaholm Maples lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-11 triumph over the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes.
The Maples (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against South Lyon (South Lyon, MI). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 13-0 record.
Next, the Cranes meet the Mercy Marlins (Farmington Hills, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 6. Cranbrook Kingswood will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Marlins go into the contest with a 12-1 record after their 11-10 league loss to Saline (Saline, MI).
