The Godwin Eagles lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Freeman Mavericks to 9 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now hold a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monacan for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5.
With the loss, Freeman falls to 6-4 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Cosby (Midlothian, VA) to clash with the Titans in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 6-4.
