In Thursday's league contest, the host Massaponax Panthers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 win over the North Stafford Wolverines.
The Panthers (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Stafford (Falmouth, VA). The Indians enter the Commonwealth contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Stafford was nipped by Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA), 14-9, in a league contest.
Next, the Wolverines meet the Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA) in a Commonwealth contest, on Monday, May 5. North Stafford will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 11-2 record after their 16-4 league win over Brooke Point (Stafford, VA).
