Next, the Screaming Eagle face the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A game, on Monday, May 5. Ashley will attempt to advance on its 16-2 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 6-10 record after their 2-0 league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).

The Buccaneers (11-6) will now prepare for their game against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions come into the Mideastern 3A/4A game with a 9-13 record. In their last game, North Brunswick was overwhelmed by Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 9-0, in a league game.
