The Patton Panthers soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host Chase Trojans to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hendersonville for a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, May 6. Patton will play a Bearcats squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, Chase moves to 0-17 on the year. The Trojans travel to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to play the Hilltoppers in a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, May 6. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 5-11. R-S Central lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Landrum (Landrum, SC)
