Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) and the host Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA), saw Clarke County's soccer squad triumph over Page County by a count of 8-0.

The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Rams enter the Bull Run battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Strasburg ran past Rappahannock County (Washington, VA), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA) in a Bull Run battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Page County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Mountaineers enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA).
