In Thursday's league contest, the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) soccer team edged the visiting East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), by a count of 2-1.
Next, the Gryphons face the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A contest, on Tuesday, May 6. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 13-5 record after their 9-0 league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC).
