The Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA) baseball trounced the host East Stroudsburg North Timberwolves (Dingmans Ferry, PA), 18-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nazareth Area for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2. Pocono Mountain East will clash with a Blue Eagles team coming off a 14-1 league win over Northampton (Northampton, PA). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 14-0.

With the defeat, East Stroudsburg North drops to 0-15 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a challenge on Monday, May 5. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a record of 8-9. East Stroudsburg South won 13-7 in their recent league challenge against Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA)
