The Valley Regional/Old Lyme Warriors baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Old Saybrook Rams to 0 in the Warriors non-league win on Thursday.
The Warriors now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Morgan for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. Valley Regional/Old Lyme will play a Huskies team coming off a 18-1 non-league win over Portland (Portland, CT). The Huskies record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Old Saybrook drops to 0-2 on the year. The Rams travel to New London (New London, CT) to play the Whalers in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. The Whalers go into the test with a record of 1-0.
