In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting William Byrd Terriers soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Franklin County Eagles.
The Terriers (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels go into the non-league outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Fleming was edged by Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, May 6. Franklin County will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the outing with a 1-7 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
