The Luray Bulldogs edged the host Stonewall Jackson Generals softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Luray will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 13-4 non-league loss to Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA).
The Generals (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Central Woodstock edged Madison County (Madison, VA), 13-4, in a non-league challenge.
