Fans at Thursday's league test between the York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) and the visiting Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL), witnessed York's lacrosse squad hold off Glenbard West by a count of 8-7.

The Dukes (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Porters enter the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Lockport nipped Lake Park (Roselle, IL), 9-2, in a non-league test.

Next, the Hilltoppers battle the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 3. Glenbard West will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Blue Devils enter the test with a 7-6 record after their 15-4 league win over Mundelein (Mundelein, IL).
