Fans at Thursday's league test between the Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) and the host McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA), witnessed Yorktown's lacrosse squad overcome McLean by a count of 13-6.

The Patriots (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Deep Run nipped Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA), 15-3, in a league test.

Next, the Highlanders battle the Gainesville Cardinals (Gainesville, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 6. McLean will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the test with a 12-1 record after their 14-8 non-league win over Woodson (Fairfax, VA).
