Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) and the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), witnessed Parkwood's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Porter Ridge by a count of 14-8.
The Wolf Pack (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Cavaliers enter the Southern Carolina/Rocky River contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Cuthbertson was overwhelmed by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 16-4, in a league contest.
Next, the Pirates meet the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River contest, on Monday, May 5. Porter Ridge will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 6-11 record after their 18-6 league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC).
